LinkedIn automation that runs from your own Mac
The Harp team ·
Most LinkedIn automation runs your account somewhere else: a cloud server, a proxy, an API connection or an extension working inside the page. Harp keeps your LinkedIn session where it already is. It drives your real Chrome on your own Mac at the operating-system level, moving the mouse and typing the way you do. There is no browser extension, no code injected into LinkedIn’s pages, no LinkedIn API and no headless browser.
Human pace, by design
- Click navigation: Harp reaches profiles by searching and clicking, the way a person browses, rather than jumping between profile URLs.
- Human timing: mouse movement, typing speed and pauses vary, with a randomized delay between actions.
- Daily limits per action type, with the actual count varying from day to day.
- A four-week warm-up for new accounts.
- Working hours only, an automatic pause after repeated errors, and an instant stop.
Right person or no send
A message or invitation cannot be taken back. Before Harp sends either, it checks that the page is the intended person’s profile. If it cannot confirm that, it does not send, and it reports why.
One step in a bigger loop
LinkedIn steps sit in the same sequence as email: visits, connection requests, messages and follow-ups, alongside waits and conditions. Your AI agent researches the account first, and a reply on either channel stops the sequence. LinkedIn replies are drafted by your agent and wait for your yes in Slack before anything is sent.
The honest trade-off
Because Harp uses your own browser, your Mac has to be on while LinkedIn steps run, inside the hours you set, and each Mac runs one LinkedIn account. LinkedIn automation needs a Mac; Windows is not supported yet. No tool can guarantee LinkedIn will never restrict an account. Harp is built to keep activity at human volumes and patterns, which is what keeps accounts safe.

Does Harp run LinkedIn in the cloud?
