Why Harp doesn’t sell AI credits
The Harp team ·
An earlier version of Harp had credits. Every research call, every enrichment and every AI-written line cost some, and the billing tab had a balance and top-ups. We switched all of it off.
The people we build for already pay for AI
Harp is for people who already use an AI agent for sales work, mostly Claude, on a plan they chose. Charging them again for AI inside Harp means paying twice, and using a model they did not pick, through prompts they cannot see.
The agent is better at this than our pipeline was
When your own agent does the research, it brings your context, your instructions and the newest model you have access to. When better models arrive, your outbound improves the same day, with no change on our side.
So what is Harp for?
Everything around the reasoning that an agent cannot do alone: memory between sessions, sequences that run on a clock, sending that respects mailbox limits, a reply loop that wakes the agent, and LinkedIn steps that run safely. That is what we charge for, as a flat subscription.
