Terms of service

Last updated November 5, 2026

These terms cover your use of Harp: the Harp app at harpgtm.com, the Harp connectors for AI assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT, the documentation at docs.harpgtm.com and the Harp app for Mac. In these terms, “Harp” means the Harp service and the team that runs it, the “customer” is the business Harp sets up an account for, and “you” means the customer and the people it lets use Harp.

By using Harp you agree to these terms. If you use Harp for a company, you confirm that you may accept them for it. If the customer has a separate written agreement with Harp, that agreement takes precedence where the two differ.

The service

Harp is the rails for outbound run by an AI assistant. The customer's own assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, does the research, writing and decisions through Harp's tools. Harp holds the accounts, contacts, sequences and history, sends email from the mailboxes the customer connects, and, through the Harp app for Mac, carries out LinkedIn steps on the customer's own computer.

Harp keeps improving the service, so its features may change over time.

Accounts

The Harp team sets up every customer account; there is no self-serve sign-up. The customer decides who can use its workspaces and with which role, and it is responsible for those people, for keeping their passwords and connected credentials safe, and for everything done under its accounts, including what its AI assistant does through a connection one of its users approved. If you think someone has got into an account without permission, tell Harp at once at tomas@harpgtm.com.

Acceptable use

Harp is for legitimate business outreach. The customer agrees that it will:

  • Contact people only where it has a lawful basis to do so, and use only contact details it is allowed to use.
  • Follow the anti-spam, privacy and marketing laws of the places it sends to, such as CAN-SPAM in the United States, the GDPR and PECR in the European Union and the United Kingdom, and CASL in Canada.
  • Honor every opt-out and unsubscribe request promptly.
  • Send nothing deceptive, misleading, harassing, defamatory or unlawful, and not hide who the outreach is from.
  • Not use Harp to break into, overload or disrupt any system, including Harp itself, or to get around Harp's limits and safeguards.
  • Not resell Harp, copy it, or try to extract its source code, except where the law allows it.

Harp has its own safeguards, such as unsubscribe and suppression handling and daily sending limits. They help, but they do not replace the customer's responsibility for its outreach and for the laws that apply to it. Harp may suspend an account that abuses the service or puts other people or Harp at risk.

Services you connect

Harp works with services the customer chooses to connect, such as mailboxes and calendars from Google, Slack, AI assistants such as Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI), and LinkedIn through the Harp app for Mac. Those services are run by other companies, and their own terms and policies apply to the customer's use of them. The customer is responsible for following them, including LinkedIn's terms and limits. Harp is not responsible for those services, for changes they make, or for actions they take on the customer's accounts there.

Customer data

The customer owns the data it and its assistant put into Harp, including the details of the people it contacts. The customer lets Harp store and process that data only to run the service, keep it secure and support the customer, as the privacy policy describes. The customer is responsible for having the right to the data it brings into Harp and for using it lawfully.

AI-assisted content

Emails, replies, research and other content may be written by the customer's AI assistant or with help from Harp features, and AI output can be wrong. The customer reviews that content and is responsible for everything sent in its name, whoever or whatever wrote it. Settings such as copy review are there to help the customer do that.

Fees

Fees are as agreed with the Harp team. Harp has no self-serve purchases. Any plan the customer has with an AI assistant's provider is between the customer and that provider.

Harp's service

Harp and its licensors own the service, its software and the Harp name. These terms give the customer the right to use Harp while its account is active, and no other rights in it. If the customer sends Harp feedback or ideas, Harp may use them without owing anything for them.

Confidentiality

Each side keeps the other's non-public information confidential and uses it only for the service, except where the information is already public, was already known, or must be disclosed by law.

Warranties

Harp is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, Harp makes no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Harp does not promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that any email will be delivered or answered, or that a mailbox provider or LinkedIn will never limit or restrict an account.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, even if it was told they were possible. Harp's total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the fees the customer paid Harp in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim. These limits do not apply to the customer's obligation to pay fees, or to liability the law does not allow to be limited.

Suspension and termination

Harp may suspend access, in whole or in part, when that is needed to stop abuse, a security risk, a breach of these terms or unpaid fees. Harp will tell the customer when it can, and restore access once the problem is fixed.

The customer may stop using Harp at any time, and its account ends as agreed with the Harp team. Harp may end an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. When an account ends, access stops, and the customer can ask Harp to delete its data as the privacy policy describes. The parts of these terms that by their nature should continue, such as those on customer data, confidentiality, warranties and liability, continue after an account ends.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If a change is significant, Harp will tell customers by email before it takes effect. Using Harp after a change takes effect means accepting the new terms.
